The IP-MV is a next generation DVB/IPTV multi-viewer that incorporates an AV analyzer capable of testing while the stream is being decoded and displayed in real-time. The result is a truly remarkable tool that allows operators to visually inspect all the programs being processed with the added benefit of knowing that the system is checking every program to ensure correctness. The combination of multi-viewer and analyzer provides a clear indicator of signal condition at a glance.

Operators are often bombarded by information in the control room with numerous programs being monitored simultaneously, so considerable time may elapse before a problem is noticed. The IP-MV immediately notifies the operator of any problems so that action can be taken to ensure minimal impact to customers. With the IP-MV and our delay for DVB, you don't have to wait for someone to complain before the problem is detected. Short turnaround could even mean that customers don't notice a problem before it is fixed.

If a problem is detected, the IP-MV sends information that may help to identify the problem. The IP-MV will indicate the kind of problem that exists (video or audio) as well provide information on signal traffic to help operators trouble shoot the situation.

Main Features

- View all received programs simultaneously or zoom in on one.
- Supports MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and H.264 compression format.
- The IP-MV is a cost effective solution for mass-market content distribution. Handling up to 16/20 programs on a single 1RU rackmount unit.
- Real-time monitoring and detection allows flexibility for more test points in a streaming delivery system resulting in greater quality assurance. From transmission to receiving, and in between any operations where errors can occur such as transcoding and re-multiplexing.

Advanced Technology

- The embedded platform makes the connection simple and compact, saving space.
- Supports TS over IP network (both SPTS & MPTS), Unicast and Multicast.
- Supports SD (up to 20 programs) and HD (6-8 programs) in DVB format (MPEG-2).
- Supports SD (up to 20 programs) and HD (4 programs) in H.264 format (including AC-3/AAC audio).
- Profit from network modular design of the IP-MV, an operator can easily construct and adjust the system according to need.
- Content (AV) detecting: Realtime detecting and alarm of video and audio. Alarm sound can be defined by operator.
- Alarm log can be easily inspected.
- IP address and password modification via management server.
- Saving and restoring of configuration via management server.
- Remote software updating.
- LCD displays current settings.
- Ability to use any JPG image as background.
- Support external alarm equipment.
- Event log inquiring.
- Central Management by i-MAS (Intelligent Management & Alarm Software)

Reliablity

- Built on a solid Linux platform for security and reliability.
- Throughout the Network distributing structure, each multi-program processor can be configured and managed via a management server. Should failure occur, simply replace the processor and reload the configuration file from the management server to resume the system.

Operation
- Each processor can display up to 20 programs. Plenty of templates are available for program combining, and programs can be assigned to an arbitrary sub-window. Each sub-window has an OSD function displaying program name and audio VU metering.
- Simple adjustment of the IP settings on the management software allows users to easily transpose programs positions, even between different displays. It also can display the same program in different screens.
- 'V+A' and 'A+V' mode: In 'V+A' mode, all the sub-windows display corresponding video & audio VU meters, and also listen to the audio of the selected program. In 'A+V' mode, all sub-windows just display the VU meters of selected programs, also the selected program’s video would be displayed.
- A functional remote control panel can be connected to the IP-MV processor via the RS232 port. Using buttons on the panel, you can choose any program to listen in to, and can also zoom out of the selected program to full screen mode.
- The user friendly interface of the Network Management Software, allows the operator to quickly and easily manage all multi-program processors on a network and inquire on their status.
